At the ROW Foundation we are doing all we can to support our partners in several countries. Here’s what we are hearing from some of them:
Dr. Prince Kazadi founded the ASLEK Epilepsy Foundation in Lubumbashi, the second largest city in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
“The ASLEK Foundation thanks you very much. We received a package containing 24 boxes of levetiracetam at this difficult moment when COVID-19 is leaving our patients without food and medicine at the same time.”
Dr. Achille Bapolisi, a psychiatrist from Bukavu General Hospital in DRC, is our most recent recipient of a grant of Roweepra® and Subvenite®.
“We are having a very tough moment at the hospital as we are overwhelmed by patients with COVID-19. We are doing what we can to face the pandemic. But we are afraid that during the pandemic and after it, it will be more difficult for our patients to access drugs for their treatment. So your help is highly appreciated!”
Dr. Eddie Chengo heads the Foundation for People with Epilepsy (FPE) in Malindi, Kenya. He coordinates the Roweepra we sent for FPE and Kiserem Foundation patients.
“We are happy to partner with ROW. Our partnership has come at the time when we needed this most, when times are very hard because of COVID-19. The patients we serve really do appreciate this kind help.”
We appreciate your partnership in supporting people with epilepsy during these challenging times. If you would like to help, go to our Donate Page and simply check “Where needed most.” All donations through the end of the year will go to help those with epilepsy impacted by COVID-19.
If you would like to help ROW establish and extend our partnerships with epilepsy-related organizations you can get in touch with us by email at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
